We collect property characteristics (such as lot size, room count, heat type and roof material) directly from local assessors. Our state of the art technology matches property records to sales and mortgage records, but occasionally a mismatch may happen. Likewise, there may be discrepancies with property characteristics where either the data source may not reflect the most recent improvements to a specific property, or in some other fashion may not accurately describe the property. We make every effort to verify and correct erroneous information when it is brought to our attention.

Our data is as accurate as the data we collect. Over the year we research and update our data, based on user input, and our own algorithms to assure that you are seeing the most accurate data possible.

New assessor files are received from MA, CT, and RI on an annual basis.
