Nominal transactions or sales designate a transfer in ownership. In these transactions, information is not available for fields such as Lender Name, Mortgage Amount, Mortgage Term, Mortgage Rate, and Deed Type. Nominal transactions are available for MA only, from 1/1/2003 to present.

To search for properties containing nominal transactions, enter a minimum sale price of $1 in the Sale Price Range field in the Comp/Custom Search. Nominals are updated on a weekly basis.

To exclude nominal sales from your search, enter a sale price greater than $1 (i.e. $100) in the Sale Price Range in Comp/Custom Search.
